Matcha Peeling

A gentle herbal peel made with 100% Japanese-grown herbs. Depending on your skin and concerns, choose the Soft type, which keeps irritation low, or the Hard type, a more intensive option aimed at improving skin texture sooner.
Experience Japan's matcha peel, the first of its kind in the Philippines.

  • Rough, bumpy texture on the cheeks, back or upper arms
  • Dullness that no brightening serum has shifted
  • Acid peels left you red and sensitive

02How JPN solves it

The skin concerns JPN can solve

Rather than fighting the skin, the matcha peel restores its turnover, draws out its natural strength and rebuilds its foundation.

Skin turnover is the cycle in which skin cells renew and old surface cells shed naturally.

When turnover is disrupted, old cells build up more easily, which can lead to acne, clogged pores, dullness and rough texture.

Using 100% herb-derived ingredients, the matcha peel conditions the skin and guides turnover back to a healthy cycle, for smoother, more refined skin.

04The treatment

From counselling to aftercare

Here is how the treatment goes on the day.

  1. Counselling

Our dermatologist checking a client's skin with her

We check your skin thickness, sensitivity and concerns, then decide on Soft or Hard. If you have a preferred type, just let us know.

  2. Cleanse

A therapist cleansing a client's face with foam

Excess oil and impurities are gently washed away with a fine, rich foam to prepare the skin for the peel.

  3. Apply the peel

A therapist applying matcha peel to a client's face

The peel is worked into the skin over several minutes. Soft is painless; with Hard you may feel some warmth.

  4. Soothe and protect

A therapist placing a calming sheet mask on a client's face

A calming mask, barrier cream and sunscreen. With Hard, redness, itching or warmth may appear for 2–3 days before old cells shed.

FAQ · Matcha Peeling

What is the difference between Soft and Hard?

Same matcha formula, different concentration and massage time. Soft: painless with no downtime, brightening skin by 1–2 tones and improving texture. Hard: deeper renewal; redness, itching or warmth may appear for 2–3 days, with about 5 days of downtime on the face and about a week on the body.

Can I have it with active acne?

Yes, in most cases; the peel is used for acne-prone skin in Japan. We avoid open, inflamed lesions and the physician checks first.

How often?

Soft: every 2 weeks, 6 or more sessions recommended. Hard: every 2 weeks on the face and every 3 weeks on the body, 3 or more sessions recommended.

Why do you say first in the Philippines?

This matcha herbal peel is a Japanese product used across our brand’s clinics in Japan, and JPN Beauty Lounge is the first clinic in the Philippines to offer it.
